Our Mission is Our Name
We strive to feed, edify and love our community. We feed over 450 individuals every Wednesday - providing over 5,000 meals each week. We rely on the generosity of our community to continue our mission to Feed Lake Highlands.
What We Do
Feed Lake Highlands partners with the North Texas Food Bank, local grocers, community groups, schools, and dedicated volunteers to distribute over 200,000 meals annually. We primarily serve families in the Lake Highlands High School attendance zone, with additional reach across Northeast Dallas, including Vickery Meadow.
Who We Serve
Feed Lake Highlands serves families across the 75243, 75231, and 75238 communities, where many children rely on school meals for daily nourishment. When school is not in session, those meals are unavailable, leaving many children at risk of going hungry. Feed Lake Highlands steps in to fill that gap, ensuring every child has the food they need to grow, focus, and thrive.
